Researching Incrementally Modified Drugs (IMD)
Incrementally modifying an existing drug can improve its safety, efficacy or usefulness. An IMD may also be recognized an advanced or improved drug technology by national management authorities such as the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) in South Korea, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the US and others.
To provide higher-quality medicines for consumers, we continually strive to develop innovative improvements of the physicochemical properties, formulations and efficacies of licensed medicines by adding new indications, reducing side effects and making drugs easier to consume.
Developing Generic Drugs
An unbranded generic drug has the same active ingredient, similar compounds and equal safety, efficacy and usefulness as a branded drug.
Our high-quality generic drugs help reduce medical and investment expenses and are recognized by the MFDS as equivalent to a developer's original drug only after rigorous testing and data.
